Before your estimate

List the rooms, surfaces or outdoor areas you want included—and anything you want left out.
Note peeling finishes, stains, previous repairs and areas that are hard to reach. Photos help explain the scope.
For an online estimate, double-check measurements, counts and other inputs before submitting.
Bring inspiration photos and mention your preferred timing. Tell us about any HOA approval requirements.

Review the written scope, selected package, colors and sheen. Confirm who handles moving furniture and removing fixtures.
Put away valuables, fragile items and personal belongings from the agreed work areas. Ask us before moving heavy furniture.
Agree on access, parking and a place for materials. Let us know which rooms or entrances need to remain available.
Make a plan to keep children and pets outside the work area, and discuss any concerns about staying home during the project.

Cabinets: confirm which cabinets need emptying and how kitchen access will work during preparation and finishing.
Exterior, deck or fence: discuss access around plants, gates, outdoor furniture and vehicles; confirm what needs moving.
Interior: confirm arrangements for wall hangings, window treatments, electronics and furniture before work starts.
Leave scraping, sanding and surface preparation to the agreed work plan. Discuss uncertain existing coatings with us first.

Walk through the agreed scope with us and point out anything you want reviewed.
Ask for the final color and product details so future maintenance is easier.
Confirm product-specific instructions for cleaning, curing, returning furniture and using freshly finished surfaces.
Keep your agreement and package-specific warranty terms with your project records.
